Dr. Bellows has developed a concept of a community response to aggression and a coordinated action model that addresses the nine elements of our communities – We, the people; Educational System; Social Service System; Justice System; Health Care System; Government; Employers; Clergy; and Media – and what each can do to minimize the aggression in our communities. Dr. Bellows discusses three common factors of each element – communication, education and cooperation – that are necessary for a coordinated effort to reduce the aggressive actions of people in the community. Dr. Bellows' book Happiness in The Family discusses counseling the angering person. The purpose and nature of the book is given on the page BOOK of this web site. Every Human Has Rights! and I support this time for us to take individual responsibility. Only with many individual voices behind them can we, make a substantial call on governments to deliver on their commitments to protect and uphold our human rights. My personal pledge is called the Choice Pledge:
I choose...
to live by choice, not by chance;
to make changes, not excuses;
to be motivated, not manipulated;
to be useful, not used;
to excel, not compete.
I choose self-esteem, not self pity.
I choose to listen to my inner voice, not the random opinion of others.
